I’ve been making business cards for over ten years now, and honestly, they’ve become a bit of a personal timeline. Each one captures where I was creatively at the time, from stop-motion and paper models, to product design and social media work.
The early ones were from my Strood Animation days (remember the Robin and the Lion cards?). I loved how playful they were and full of potential! Proper papercraft stuff.
Now, my latest card is cleaner, more grown-up but still me. Simple layout, QR code straight to my site, rounded corners, soft finish.
It changes every few years as I do, kind of like a living logo. The current thumbnail on this project will always represent the most recent version of what I do and who I am as a designer, maker and a creative!

Each version reflects a different chapter:
2014–2015: “Strood Animation” era playful, papercraft-inspired cards featuring the Robin and Lion designs.
2025–Present: “Strood Design” combining design and social media in a fresh, approachable format. Printed on soft-touch card with rounded corners and a QR code linking directly to my portfolio.
